Collecting since the early 1970ies, since 1984 he is involved in scientific phaleristic matters, and author of numerous professional articles and publications on German and foreign orders of chivalry and of merit, decorations and medals. Since 1987 as a dealer in this matter, since the early 1990ies he is also working as an expert for various German and foreign auction houses, among them also SINCONA in Zurich and beforehand for UBS in Zurich and Basle.
